Penalty: $1,500 per violation
If personnel responsible for BMP installation and inspection are not trained, this penalty applies.
Failure to prepare, maintain, or update required SWPPP documentation
Penalty: $750 per violation
This includes incomplete SWPPP logs, missing inspection reports, or outdated BMP maps.
General failure to comply with any FDEP stormwater rule.
Penalty: $1,000 per violation
This is a catch-all category frequently used in enforcement.
