About Me.

I am a native Floridian born and raised in the Orlando area. During my studies at the University of Florida, I discovered I had a passion for geology which led me to graduate with a degree in geological studies. After college, I started as an environmental consultant and obtained by Geologist-in-Training in Georgia. I returned to my hometown three years later after gaining valuable experience conducting Phase I ESAs, contamination assessments for gas stations, landfills, and commercial industrial sites across the eastern seaboard. I decided to specialize in Florida environmental sites and worked primarily on retail petroleum sites for five years. In 2009, I obtained my Florida Professional Geologist license. I decided to broaden my horizons and worked as a health, safety, and compliance officer at a Hazardous Waste TSDF where I gained experience with RCRA waste handling and disposal.

I later worked for the two water management districts (St. John's River Water Management District (SJRWMD) and Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD)) where I was dedicated to assisting the general public and stakeholders with water use permitting and compliance. I was proud to participate in a program that provided utilities with no-cost water audits resulting in an estimated 1,000,000,000 gallons a year of groundwater withdrawal from our aquifers. A

After 5 years with the water management districts, I returned to the private sector as an environmental consultant. I worked for several large firms before pursuing my longtime dream of having my own woman owned and operated environmental consulting. My focus in on environmental consulting for development and re-development of commercial, industrial, and large residential communities in Florida.

Advancing women in the industry is a passion of mine and I am active in several women's organization including the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Ladies-in-Land. I am also dedicated to giving back through sharing my environmental knowledge with young professionals and educating the general public.

I believe in being a leader in technology in the industry starting with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which it was in infancy when I started using it 25 years ago to more recently Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the use of drone technology to benefit environmental consulting.

In my spare time, I enjoy World of Warcraft and Dungeons & Dragons with my incredible husband/best friend. Our homelife is centered around our cats, who are extremely spoiled.
